Tambayan is an early-access public community. Help make it a welcoming place to share stories, meet people, and keep in touch.
No scams, spam, or impersonation.
Be honest about who you are. Don’t deceive people, flood the feed with repeated promotions, or ask for someone’s password or verification code.
Share thoughtfully.
Only post content you have permission to share. Keep private addresses, contact details, and sensitive information—yours and other people’s—out of public posts.
Report a concern. Protect your space.
Use Hide & report on a post, or the report and block controls on a member’s profile. Reports go to the site owner for manual review; there is no guaranteed response time.
Know what is public.
Profiles, profile photos, cover photos, posts, and comments are visible to everyone. Your sign-in email is not shown in your public profile. A display name is required to participate; your profile photo and bio are optional.
Messages and account controls.
One-to-one messages are restricted to the conversation participants, but are not end-to-end encrypted. Blocking stops new direct interactions; public content and earlier conversations remain accessible. A member report shares the details you provide with the owner, not your chat history.
You can edit your profile, delete your posts, or delete your Tambayan account from profile settings. Account deletion removes your content and conversations involving you for both participants. The site owner can hide content or suspend accounts. Moderation history and suspension records may remain after deletion.
